Eureka Springs Christmas Events

Eureka Springs shines for the holidays with a month of festive events.   The calendar is full of Christmas activities throughout November and December.

November 22nd-December 23rd—Snow Village and Train Exhibit.  Gaskin Switch Village.  This enchanting exhibit consists of over 300 buildings and includes three town squares depicting businesses of the era as well as many residences, vehicles and three Lionel 0 scale trains, a Lionel 0 scale trolley, and many other accessories, trees, and surprises. November 28thEureka Springs Art Bazaar, 10am-5pm, Inn of the Ozarks Convention Center.   Local and regional artists exhibit their unique wares. November 28thShop Small Saturday – 1pm-3pm Basin Spring Park: Santa in the Park featuring the Santa Beard Contest – everyone can enter to be part of the fun! Kids, dogs and folks with the best beard could win prizes! December 3rdAnnual Silver Tea Crescent Hotel Crystal Dining Room.  1:30pm to 4 pm.  Sponsored by St. James Episcopal Church.  Admission is by donation. The public is invited to this annual holiday fundraisers for the Flint Street Food Bank & “Back our Kids”

December 4th Christmas Parade of Lights.  Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.  Floats, walking groups, bands and thousands of lights make this one of the year’s most popular parades.   www.eurekaspringschamber.com

December 5th Candlelight Tour of Homes – 3pm-8pm.  Nine locations will be participating in this year’s tour, giving guests a glimpse of a bygone era. All stops on the self-guided tour will be lavishly decorated for the season with Victorian attired docents at each site to relate the history of each home. Each residence offers an opportunity to revisit the grandeur of the graceful Victorian era and its unique, enchanting homes. www.eurekaspringspreservationsociety.org

December 5th John Two Hawks Holiday Concert, 7pm at The Auditorium. Annual holiday concert starring John Two Hawks.  This year John will be joined by Johanna Kurkeld from Finland.  www.johntwohawks.com

December 5th-January 2nd–Crescent Hotel Christmas Tree Forest.   More than 30 tree will adorn the holiday focal point of the hotel’s nearly15 acres.  An event to raise money for local charities, The annual Christmas forest  is a community wide decoration event that allows votes/collections with all money raised going directly to the charity. www.christmasatthecrescent.com/christmas-forest.html

December 11thNight of a Thousand Santas – 7p.m. to 10 p.m.  Meet at Basin Spring Park to get your Santa gear (or wear your own) and mosey along with Santas of all stripes throughout downtown to Reindeer Games at local pubs!
