Christmas Events in Eureka Springs

Drive-Through Light Display at the Great Passion Play

Great Passion Play Grounds

Experience Christmas from Thanksgiving night through January 1 with a by donation drive-through light display with lights on from dark through 8:00 PM on Thursdays through Sundays on the grounds of The Great Passion Play. For more info visit

Meet Your Maker Indie Art & Craft Fair

Main Stage Community Center

Shop from local artists at this indie art and craft fair on Friday from noon until 8 pm and Saturday from 10am-6pm at 67 N. Main St.   Items include jewelry, blown glass, art, pottery and much more!


November 24th
Shop Small Saturday

Basin Spring Park, 2:30 p.m.

momandpop will be playing, story time with the Carnegie Library and Santa will be available for Santa Selfies. The first 100 people will receive a local retail, dining or spa gift certificate and Shop Small Bag!

Christmas tree lighting to follow at 4:30 p.m.


November 30th
Christmas Parade of Lights

Downtown, 6pm

One of Eureka’s favorite parades.  This evening’s Parade of Lights rolls at 6:00PM through the beautifully decorated downtown streets with floats, walkers, bands and thousands of lights.  Start your holiday season in Eureka.


December 1st
Annual Candlelight Tour of Homes

3:00 pm – 8:00 pm

A walking tour of a sampling of Eureka’s most beautifully restored homes giving guests a glimpse of a bygone era.  All stops on the self-guided tour will be lavishly decorated for the season with Victorian attired docents to relate the history of each home. Visitors will be treated to carolers, Christmas music and refreshments along their journey into the past. Visit

John Two Hawks Holiday Concert

The Auditorium 7pm

16th annual holiday concert featuring John Two-Hawks and featuring the Bentonville Washington Jr. High Girls’ Choir at The Aud in Eureka Springs. Tickets available at or at the door the night of the performance.

Fire Fighters & Santa in The Park
Basin Spring Park 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Join the Fire Department as they bring Santa for a special treat to Downtown Eureka Springs.


December 3rd– January 1st
Christmas Tree Forest

Crescent Hotel Garden

More than 30 trees will adorn the holiday focal point of the hotel’s nearly15 acres.  An event to raise money for local charities, the annual Christmas forest is a community-wide decoration event that allows votes/collections with all money raised going directly to the charity with the top three vote-getters receiving an additional bonus from the Crescent and Basin Park Family. The Christmas Forest will remain on the East Lawn of the Crescent Hotel for display through January 1st, 2019.


December 6th
52nd Annual Silver Tea

Crescent Hotel, 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm

On December 6th from 1:30 to 3:30, the Crystal Dining Room at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas will be turned into a Winter Wonderland by the St. James Episcopal Church members.  This yearly event on the first Thursday in December kicks off the Christmas Season Celebrations occurring all over town throughout the month.  The tables are covered with silver trays full of tea cookies and sandwiches.  Each year a non-profit organization in Carroll County is chosen to receive the proceeds.

Night of 1000 Santas

Downtown Eureka Springs, 5pm

The Premier Downtown Eureka Springs Santa Scavenger Hunt is back and better than ever! Join hundreds of Santa’s and his helpers to find spots with games, clues, and trivia throughout the night in Downtown Eureka Springs. It’s time to find out who is naughty and who’s nice! The person who gets the most points will win a trip back to Eureka Springs.

December 8th

Ozark Chorale Holiday Concert

The Auditorium 7pm

Come and celebrate the season with the Ozark Chorale at The Auditorium. Tickets available at the door the evening of the concert. Showtime 7:00 p.m.


December 9th
Special Brass Horn Concert

The Auditorium, 3:30 p.m.

50-piece Carroll County Community Orchestra will perform a Holiday Concert.  This program is free to the public.


December 15th

A Eureka Christmas
The Auditorium, 7:30 p.m.

A special evening of Christmas music and fun featuring some great area talents including Arkansas’ own Barrett Baber, Star of NBC’s “The Voice”.   Eureka Springs’ very own Rachel Fields will bring her Christmas favorites to the stage, and a powerful and soulful Northwest Arkansas Gospel Choir will raise the roof!  Plus, other special Arkansas guests from the region!

It’s a free show and it’s a way to help our local charities with donations.


December 22nd
Home for the Holidays Concert

The Auditorium, 7pm

The Ozarks hills will come alive with the sound of holiday music on Saturday, December 22nd when the annual Home for the Holidays Concert takes place in The Auditorium. Local Eureka Springs singers and groups will perform songs of the season.  There is no charge to attend the concert but donations to the Flint Street Food Bank are accepted at the door.
