Del Shores-Six Characters In Search Of A Play

The Auditorium, 8pm

Sordid Lives creator Del Shores’ new one-man show, directed by Emerson Collins, proves once and for all that he is not a writer, he’s a self-proclaimed thief!  In “Six Characters In Search Of A Play”, riffing on Pirandello’s classic title, Shores brings to life six one-of-a-kind characters he has met in real life that haven’t quite made it into one of his plays, films or TV shows. The Eurekan Multisport Festival

A three-day multi-sport festival consisting of a super sprint-distance triathlon on Friday afternoon; 3 different distance Gran Fondo road bike rides on Saturday; and three distances of runs on Sunday. 2nd Saturday Gallery Stroll

The Gallery Association presents its special Second Saturday gallery stroll through historic downtown. The galleries stay open from 6PM-9PM for your enjoyment with special artists’ showings and demonstrations.  Light refreshments and wine served in participating shops & galleries.

7th Annual Summertime in the Ozarks

Summertime in the Ozarks is a weekend Al-Anon conference.  It is aimed at being a family event with activities for everyone involved in recovery.  Whether you are a member of Al-Anon, Alateen, AA or a dual member, there will be something for you. Dancing in the Park

The fourth Saturday of the month brings dancing to Basin Spring Park.  The Melon Light Dancers will entertain all ages, and if you’re willing, they’ll help you learn a step or two. Come and enjoy. It’s Free!   Never stop dancing!!

Banjo Rally International

This has been an annual event since 1975.  This year’s headliner is Matt Tolentino. Banjo Rally International is an annual gathering opportunity for players of all acoustic instruments. We focus on players of 4-string plectrum and tenor banjos, but all acoustic instrument musicians are welcome to attend and perform.   Details can be found on their website.
